After meeting your hosts and the rest of your fellow guests you will learn some of the fascinating history of the historical Texas Longhorns. Enjoy a delicious traditional Aussie Smoko including camp oven cooked damper/scones and billy tea plus Texas chocolate brownies and other home-cooked delicacies all served from a genuine 'made in Texas' Cowboy Chuck Wagon.

After smoko it's time to get on the western covered wagon that was purpose built by us at Leahton Park for the wagon ride viewing the largest herd of full-blood Texas Longhorns in Australia including JR the 2013 holder of the Guinness World record for longest horns. His horns now exceed 10 feet 3 inches or 3.1 metres measured from tip to tip. There are Asian Water Buffalo, American Bison, Afican Gyr, African Watusi and Scottish Highland cattle on display. The wagon has safe & easy access for guests of all ages and is drawn by the magnificent Percheron draft horses - Woodrow & Gus.

Following the wagon ride learn some of the secrets to what goes into the construction of some of the most sought after saddles in the country when you join us for an informative tour of the renowned Bethel Saddlery custom saddle shop where Mick has been making saddles for almost 30 years. This is approximately a 3 to 4 hour experience.
