Leahton Park is a unique and great country style venue that is only 10 km from Charters Towers with a sealed road to the front gate. The open-sided undercover dining shed will seat up to 80 people in comfort but for weddings or perhaps you’d like to hire a teepee or take advantage of the magic of the outdoor festoon lighting lit area where you can dine or party 'under the stars'. A floodlit carpark is situated close to the function area.

Even though we will provide a great wedding venue for you ceremony and reception (or just the ceremony or reception) we don't cater for meals and you are welcome to organise a caterer of your choice. For larger weddings we encourage you to take advantage of the local bus company who can schedule convenient coach drop-offs and pick-ups prior to your ceremony and also during and after the reception. We can provide a list of hire businesses we have worked with, or caterers who have provided beautiful meals here.

    • Includes rustic themed lockable drinks cooler inside bar
  • 3 x large Hogshead wine barrels
  • Elegant wooden handmade arch & Rustic wooden signing table
  • Custom ‘Leahton Park’ fire pit
  • Use of ‘Hitching Rail’ bunkhouse cabin for wedding party during the day and night of the function 
  • Choice of 2 classic vehicles for delivery of bridal party, photos etc. (Vehicles available for use on Leahton Park only)
    • 1961 ‘Midnight’ Black Cadillac Sedan De Ville
    • 1956 ‘Electric’ Blue F100 Pickup Truck
  • 1880’s era genuine Cowboy Chuck Wagon set up at campfire
  • Use of property for photos including all permanent ‘props’ - gardens, Mick’s Garage etc.
  • Use of 3 x multi-passenger Polaris Rangers to transport the wedding party (20 people maximum) out into the paddock for photos.
    • If Texas Longhorns and other animals are accessible they will also be available for photo opportunities
  • Australian horse drawn wagonette for photos or prop

Also included:

  • Loader with forks (hay tines also available) will be onsite to unload & reload heavy or bulky items if required
  • Cold room

Options available:

  • Horse drawn wagon for photos/delivery of wedding party etc.
  • Billy Tea and Cowboy Coffee served from Campfire area for your guests (enamel mugs etc. provided)
